Please read these conditions carefully before using the booksnbagels.com website. By using the booksnbagels.com website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions. In addition, when you use any current or future booksnbagels.com service, you will also be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to that service.
Your Personal Information
The information we learn from customers helps us to personalize and continually improve your shopping experience at booksnbagels.com. We use the information to handle orders, deliver products and services, process payments, communicate with you about orders, products, services and promotional offers, update our records and generally maintain your accounts with us, display content such as wish lists and services that might be of interest to you. Books&Bagels reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.
Orders
All orders are binding. In case of delay you will be contacted by email as quickly as possible. In special circumstances, Books&Bagels reserves the right to cancel any order. Your order constitutes an offer to Books&Bagels to enter into a binding agreement. When ordering, Books&Bagels will send you an email confirming the receipt of your order. This confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of your order. It solely purpose is to inform you that we have received your order. A legal contract of sale comes about only when the ordered product is shipped to you.
Pricing and availability
All prices listed on our website include the necessary MwSt.
Despite our efforts, a small number of the many products in our catalogue could be priced incorrectly. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any products you ordered turns out to be unavailable.
Delivery
Orders to Swiss customers are sent with the Swiss Post, to customers in all other countries with the Deutsche Post / DHL, each at the lowes tariff. For deliveries to countries outside of Switzerland and the EU, the custome is responsible for any applied import duties (customs and tax). The customer should inform him- or herself of the import regulations of the destination country.
Payment Conditions
Payment must be made within 30 days of the invoice date. The billing of an order will either be in CHF or in Euros regardless of the currency in which the product was ordered. The exchange rate prices of Books&Bagels goods are updated according to the UBS currency rate.

Customers residing outside Switzerland who do not have a credit card may make a payment direclty onto a Books&Bagels banks account:

Returns
Items can only be returned if the customer sends us, by mail or by post, within one week after receipt of the order, the reason for wanting to return the goods and receive a confirmation by us that it can be returned. The items can only be sent back to the address stated in the confirmation mail. In the event of the customer wanting to exchange an item due to an ordering error, the customer bear the costs for returning and resending the item(s). In the case of an incorrect delivery or defects, we will bear the shipping costs.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the relevant laws of the Canton of Basel-Stadt. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Basel-Stadt.
